In a time where evil seems so overwhelming in our world today, I urge you to remember to count the blessings God has given you.
I have had this reel in my drafts and I have felt wrong posting about these fun memories in light of what has happened this week. However, I’ve realized that’s exactly what I should be doing. Sharing light in the darkness (2 Corinthians 4:6) Being grateful for what God has done in my life (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Choosing to continue to be bold in my faith so that Christ may be glorified (Philippians 1:20).
It’s so easy to be discouraged.
About the world.
& About your own life.
I pray that the family of God will be a beacon of hope where people run to in the darkest of times and that they will choose to count their blessings no matter what is going on.

Lil life update for my insta friends!

🤍 grateful for an amazing husband who has had to deal with me as I battle an autoimmune disease our first month of marriage. doctors are thinking it’s lupus. so if you think of it, keep us in your prayers as we navigate this new chapter. through sickness & in health baby! @zak_burnett4him

🐾 got us the best doggie from the pound! yogi has been such a blessing during this season of sickness for me. he is the biggest cuddle bear & also is an escape artist, so we have to keep our eye on him at all times 👀

🫂 took a trip to bham to see daddio @trent.dilfer then nash to hang out with @maddiestoutland and the cutest nephew alive (plus the cutest niece on the way🥹). next up was atl to see @toridilfer ball out in her first home game!couple days later momma took care of me while Zak was on a work trip. got to see the whole fam in a little over one week! what a gift it is to live near them all!

🤗 also we have been able to see the Burnett’s often and I have even gotten to have some study dates with zak’s sister, Abby as she is in medical school and I’m finishing up my masters online.

🙌 Zak has been absolutely loving working for FCA full time! he wakes up early, drives a lot, & is still fully energized because of his passion for the Lord and this ministry. i love seeing him do what he loves.

💝also just so grateful for my friends and family for checking in on me and praying for this sickness battle. love them so much!!!

I’ve been told the long Instagram updates have been helpful for my family and friends that are spread out all over the place. so, sorry for the book, but just wanted to remind y’all that even in the weird, tough seasons of life to hold on to all the blessings the Lord gives! :)
